As a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer and ACE certified sports performance + fitness nutrition specialist, Grace strives to motivate clients to unlock their physical and mental strength and achieve their goals. She is passionate about feeding ourselves with the right nutrients for healthy and happy bodies, minds and spirits.

Grace is an avid runner and loves competing in endurance athletics among other sports. She is a former Collegiate Division I Cross Country and Track & Field runner, as well as Gatorade and Heisman winner.

Mya Clark - Certified Personal Trainer (NASM)

Mya moved to Maine from Kentucky in 2023 with her spouse and their three dogs. She is a certified personal trainer with a passion for powerlifting. It is her goal to not only be well, but also be strong. Mya will work alongside clients to help them develop and adhere to a training plan while providing support on their wellness journeys. Mya takes pride in her challenging, encouraging and accepting training style - her motto; "no pressure, no diamonds." She played high school basketball and continues to play recreationally. 

Joshua Marcho - Licensed Massage Therapist

Josh went to massage school in the spring of 2008 at Spa Tech Institute. He graduated their Deep Tissue course in August of 2008 and later became certified in their Holistic program. He has his attunements for reiki 1 and 2. He became certified for stone massage in 2022.

Josh worked at Massage Envy in South Portland for 10 years. He now works out of his home practice in Bangor and practices massage at Brooklin’s the Maine Hideaway Inn, the Camden Harbour Inn, and the GCFitness Center.

Arlee Woodworth - Yoga Instructor

Arlee has a wealth of yoga knowledge and brings a passion for exercise and eating well to the fitness center. She lives in Blue Hill with her husband and 2 children. Arlee completed her 200 hour teacher training at Jai Yoga (Kripalu Studio) in Brunswick, ME in 2013. Arlee did her 100 hour prenatal teacher training with Barrett Reinhorn of Five Points Yoga in Cambridge, MA in the fall of 2014. She also became a certified doula in 2014. She was a high school and college athlete (soccer, ice hockey, rugby, track, and lacrosse) and has been a runner most of her life.

Arlee is an involved community member and serves on the Friends of Library Board at the Blue Hill Library. She also runs a small business selling vintage and second hand clothing via Instagram and Etsy @drymoonvintage.

Mara Raskin - Guest Pilates Instructor

Mara Raskin is a dually-certified Pilates Instructor and Yoga Teacher. Mara trained extensively in New York City and achieved Certified Instructor status in early 2003 from Joseph Pilates’ protégé, Master Instructor Romana Kryzanowska. Mara secured a second comprehensive certification in 2008 from Stott Pilates, a contemporary, anatomically-based approach to Joseph Pilates’ original method incorporating modern exercise principles to promote spinal rehabilitation and overall performance enhancement. Mara went on to secure her Yoga Teacher Certification in early 2009, and added a YogaSlacker Teacher Certification to her credentials in May, 2011. Mara enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for health and quality of life with a variety of clientele, and is always game to play outside!

David Chapman - Yoga Instructor

David has been seriously practicing yoga since 2010. In 2015-16 he completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training through California-based YogaWorks. Prior to the pandemic he was teaching a variety of classes at three New Hampshire locations of a popular health club, at a yoga studio in Manchester, NH, and at the Manchester Police Department. 

A retired high school counselor, David was also ski school director at a New Hampshire ski area and continued to teach skiing part-time until the pandemic. David and his wife moved to Blue Hill in August of 2020. He has filled his time with working on the house, restoring his 175 year-old barn, volunteering with the Blue Hill Heritage Trust and the Downeast Wood Bank, hiking, skiing and kayaking.

Jennifer Hoover - Thai Bodywork Massage Therapist

Jenny Hoover recently relocated to Maine from Detroit, MI. She has a deep desire to help people through different healing modalities. Jenny is a certified Yoga Teacher, Thai Massage Bodywork, and Sound Healer and will be attending massage school shortly. During her off time, she spends it weightlifting, loving on her pup and two kitties, crafting or reading. Jenny has a huge appreciation for nature and brings that love into her work. She hopes that her light and love bring joy to others and looks forward to serving and connecting with the Blue Hill community.
